Exhaust Filter Box

Model 300 Exhaust Filter Box – Fume & Particulate Removal

The Model 300 Exhaust Filter Box mounts to existing exhaust hoods to provide filtration and help remove particulate and fumes from the airflow. Depending on the application, the Exhaust Filter Box can be equipped with a variety of filter combinations such as HEPA filtration for particulate, Activated Carbon/Blended Filter Media for chemical fumes adsorption, or a combination of both for particulate and fume removal.

The Exhaust Filter Box works by connecting to the existing fan exhaust system which draws the fumes and/or particulate through the filter box removing most of the contaminants from the airflow. The filtered air exits through the exhaust plenum into existing ductwork and is released externally. This system features a magnetic front door allowing for a simple “no tool” filter change.

By adding filtration such as HEPA filters, facilities can help reduce particulate build-up in the ductwork. Ductwork build-up can lead to costly maintenance and cleaning procedures as well as machine downtime. Particle build-up can also potentially cause safety concerns. Also, adsorbing chemical or caustic gases with Activated Carbon filters can help improve the environmental impact by reducing the fume concentration released into the atmosphere and helping improve exhaust air sampling.

Product Benefits:

  • Reduces particle build-up in the ductwork.
  • Helps prevent costly maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Lessens the chance of safety concerns from ductwork build-up.
  • Adsorbs chemical fumes lowering the amount released into the environment.
  • Aids in improving exhaust air sampling.
  • Magnetic filter door for a simple “no tool” filter change.
